About Me

Life is a journey and in the journey of my life, time is the best teacher I have, yet in times, I lament over time for being too late to teach me the lessons, as vicissitudes confront me in the quest for my destiny. Fate is a pre-written prophecy, which we have to unfold as the days pass by so I believe that achieving the target is not a unilateral approach with hard work and determination but it is also affected by our unseen fate.

Listening to our heart and following our dreams, though the best philosophy I have heard about, yet in times heart direct us towards the wrong path, so it is always vital that we consult the ones who cares about us, seek their advice while initiating our first step towards doing anything. However, the ultimate decision is in our own hand.

Blogging is a passion I picked up during my college days in India inspired by seasoned Bhutanese bloggers, which helped me overcome my gloomy college days. Whatever I scribble on my blog, it won’t make much sense to my readers as they are my mere chronicles of day-to-day experiences mixed with my opinions and some verses. I read many blogs and hardly miss the recent post of the blogs on my blog roll.

Forestry is a course, which I pursued and it is a course of my choice for destiny is not a matter of chance but of choice. My Bachelors Degree in Forestry paved my path towards conservation and I work as a Forester in Department of Forests and Park Services. I currently work at the Nature Conservation Division in Thimphu.

Trekking and photography is what I am interested. Being a forester, I had enough share of trekking and field experiences which are worth cherishing.

Currently, I am pursuing my Masters of Science in Landscape Ecology and Nature Conservation at the University of Greifswald, Germany.

Darilog is a hamlet which I hail from and it is still an isolated village without much modern amenities. Roads have not reached the doorsteps and electricity is the recent arrival. So, I am simply a son of an ordinary Bhutanese farmer born and brought up in a remote corner in Bhutan.
